What do I do with the last few drops of Young Living essential oils left in a bottle?

I do not like to let ANY of my Young Living essential oils go to waste. Besides the fact that I paid for every last drop, I don't want to waste any single drop. So here's one my things to get those last few drops in a bottle.

Things you will need:
- Empty or almost empty Essential Oil Bottles
- Empty Mason jar - it can be a pint or quart
- Cup or two of water

Ok. We have the basics now let's get rolling.

I take each almost empty bottle, pull out the plastic stopper and put the bottle in the empty glass jar. I'll put every extra empty oil bottle I have. I don't care that the oils mix together, it smells amazing!

After I have all the empty bottles inside the jar, I add one or two cups of water to the jar. Just enough to cover the empty bottles. I then swirl the jar around to get some of the extra oil out of the bottles. I usually leave the jar to sit for a day, sometimes a week before I do anything with it. And if I happen to empty any more bottles, I add them in too!

When I'm ready, I grab my Amber glass spray bottle. I pour the water from the jar into the Amber bottle and put the spray lid on it. I will use this mixture to clean my windows, countertops, bathroom toilets, etc. I will diffuse the mixture too!

Whatever the combination is, it smells amazing! It's a great way to use up the rest of those drops!

Happy Oiling!

You can do more than you think - I FINISHED my fence!

You can do more than you think - I FINISHED my fence!

Well the update is I FINISHED IT!!!

6 weeks of hard work, dedication and a belief in myself! Oh and sunburns, some bruises, a couple cuts to my hands, laughs and some profanity. 🤓 My kids helped motivate me at times when I was exhausted.

21 old 8 foot wood panels removed
Almost 400 pickets
63 Eight foot 2x4’s
3 boxes of screws
5 posts replaced
3 gates replaced
Drills, saws, more saws, another saw with another name😆, levels, cut gloves, etc…

Mind you I picked all of these items up slowly in my car! The guy at the lumber yard gate and I became pals.

Now that it’s finished, I can’t believe I did it! I have NEVER in my life done anything close to this.

Looking back this project has several metaphors for my life. I’ve gone through some major life changes the last few years. Single mom re-figuring out life! I’m getting rid of the old and replacing with the new. Gates that didn’t work before, now open. I can do anything with time and dedication. I love the direction my life is headed.

One WHOLE SIDE Replaced!

One WHOLE SIDE Replaced!

One WHOLE FENCE SIDE Replaced!!!!🔥🔥

Listen.

Don’t ever question if you can do something you’ve never done before.

I was so intimidated in the beginning to go into the hardware store for supplies. Now, I know what I need. And if I don’t, I’m not afraid to ask.

If you think you can’t. You can.

If you think it’s too hard. It’s not.

Will it take some time? Yup.

Will it be worth it? Absolutely!

I’m figuring it out and enjoying the process. 🔥🤍
